Ms. Leung goes to third grade.

"A job is something a person does to earn a living;
a career is something a person does as a lifetime pursuit."

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.
You are serving the Lord Christ." -Colossians 3:23-24

Praise God! He is so good! I seriously woke up yesterday feeling so nervous about the second interview I had with the same school I had last week. Then, through my quiet time I realized that God already has this under His control. I can't do anything to screw up His plan if I relax and let him work in and through me during the interview.

So after months and months and countless sleepless nights and exhausted days of online job applications... Ms. Leun
g is going to third grade! I loved teaching third grade last year, and I am so happy I get to do it again.

I am so pumped, but really that doesn't even encompass half of the feelings I have. I just know that when I went back to my car post-job offer, I screamed as if I was a multi-trillion dollar lottery winner. God truly does supply all our needs, we just don't now what some of them are until we look back on it...
I was talking to a friend tonight, and I remember praying fall semester of sophomore year for God to give me a passion for teaching if it was what He wanted for me to pursue. And now He wants me to really do this. For reals. With my own students. With my own classroom. That's crazy. That's crazy love from God in that He really wants me to glorify Him through my work in this new school, new students, new co-workers, new everything.

Scared? Oh, heck yes. I don't want to leave Knoxville, but I know this is what God wants me to do. He wants me to move to Murfreesboro and pursue being a third grade teacher there. I'm so amazed.
